Saltwater Treasures strives to provide the customer with the best and healthiest livestock possible. We quarantine and screen all of our items before we ship them off to you. Because of the care we give the animals we offer a 100% guarantee on most livestock. We will honor this guarantee for 7 days. We will guarantee the animal arrives alive and stays alive for the full term or we will replace it at our cost (minus shipping and handling fees). There will be the occasional item that is declared as having no guarantee. We will specify on the website that this item has no guarantee.
Arrive Alive
Under the rare circumstances that your animal does not arrive alive or dies within 7 days of delivery, immediately call us and let us know. Below are our terms and conditions of the guarantee.
Terms and Conditions
- 7 day guarantee begins on the day the livestock is shipped
- Package must be signed for on the first delivery attempt or picked up at the FedEX office within the first 4 hours of the branch opening.

- If the delivery is refused for any reason the customer is liable for the full cost of the invoice
- Livestock listed as an expert species or listed as NG are not covered.
- Customers must fallow ALL acclimation procedures.
- Aquarium water chemistry must be within the following parameters:
Temperature: 75 - 82F
pH: 8.1 - 8.3
Specific Gravity: 1.020 - 1.026
Ammonia: 0.0 ppm
Nitrate: 0.0 ppm
Nitrate :0.0 - 25 ppm
- We will not issue credit for shipping costs or handling charges.
- Shipments must be held at FedEX when temperatures are below 40F and above 90F.
- Water sample and deseased specimen must be sent back to Saltwater Treasures. You will receive detailed instructions from a customer service representative.
- Signature is required for all deliveries.
- If an item is missing or deceased contact Saltwater Treasures within one hour of delivery.
- No refunds on livestock. Credits are to replace livestock or apply to the next order.
Price Match Guarantee
We feel that we are able to bring the customer the highest quality item at the least price possible. With that mindset we offer a price match guarantee. There are few, if any, online livestock websites with this guarantee. If you find a lower price anywhere online, we will match the price with no questions asked. Just email customer service with the URL of the exact page displaying a lower price before placing our order and we will adjust your price to match the lower one. It.s that simple.
Terms and Conditions
- Price match is good on fish, coral and inverts only.
- The matching item must be the exact same item: same color, size, shape and origin.
- The lower priced item must not be a sale or special item.
- We will match livestock based on size.
- The URL of the site to be matched must be working at the time we respond to your email.
- We reserve the right to match the shipping terms, box charges or any additional fees of the site being matched.
- We reserve the right to contact the company to verify price prior to ordering.
